Don't be fooled to think that the "newly renovated" apartment looks like the model apartment they show you. I did not even have a chance to see my apartment until the day I was scheduled to move in.
As soon as I walked into the apartment I could smell stale smoke. Although the Links provides you with a 30 day move out period, they do not provide the reimbursement for additional moving fees. I chose to stay there and put up with the smoke, the noise and the discomfort.
I did complain frequently to Lee in the front office and asked the maintenance staff if there was something they could do about it. Nothing was done.
The apartment renovation was half-fast. The screws from the "newly" renovated cabinets started to fall out and the new paint on the walls appeared as it was slopped on.
Let's talk about the noise and the constant bellows of the bass eminating from the cars outside at 2 pm. I slept with ear plugs in everynight, and was forced to by an air filtration system to attempt to remove the second hand smoke from my apartment.
It seemed as if the the office staff lacked any communication. Each time I requested they allow certain delivery personnel into my apartment ahead of time, I still received a call from one or the other in that office to either confirm or tell me that they did not allow the delivery because I had not provided the information allowing the delivery.
In addition, if the blond in the front office called me sweety one more time I was going to throw up.
All in all a very bad experience, and I am glad I am out of there early.
Additionally, don't think that the rent is the only thing you have to pay. They use an independent company to bill you for water, sewage, "pest control", and waste disposal ect. ect. This adds an additional 30-35 dollars each month.

Horrible experience. Don't let the setting fool you. Terrible management, terrible apartments.
