It's just not safe!

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002
I have lived in Lofton Place for nearly a year now. The first time I visited the complex - I loved it! I though it was georgeous, and well kept, and the apartments were large and have a unique floor design. The price was right and so the lease was signed!
Well don't be fooled by those roman tubs or that sunken living room!
3 months into my lease my car was stolen. Before calling the police I called the leasing office to make sure it hadn't been towed for any strange reason. When I was told that no cars were towed, I let them know that my car had been stolen. The reply I received was "Good luck finding it!" (in an upbeat happy voice....)A few days later I called to report this to the manager at that time (the office manager has since changed...and changed again...). She seemed very concerned and said she would send out a memo notifying tenants. This never happened.
My car was later found in unrecognizable condition.
There was a purse snatching, and I would estimate that about 3 cars a month are broken into or stolen.
I don't feel safe walking my dog when it is dark out. THAT'S RIGHT LOFTON PLACE - I HAVE A DOG!!!! ;)
The courtyards are filthy, and the neighbors are slobs. A gentleman downstairs left his pants outside his door for an entire month! I have enough of my own laundary I don't need to see my neighbor's....
You really have no idea what you're in for when you sign that lease.
Don't do it!
