Lofton Place has been a nightmare. When I moved in I was told by one of the office staff that I was eligable to recieve a move-in special. My deposit was waived and my application fee. When I moved in the apartment I was to move into was in terrible shape. They had replaced the counters but it had stains all over the carpet. The lenoleum was peeling up the porch door would not open and the blinds were falling apart. Additionally the entire place smelled of urine. After much arguing the place was cleaned. After moving in I was harassed by management for not paying a deposit. I was threatened with eviction. So, I had to pay. I lived here for a year the office staff is quite possibly the worst in the Tampa Bay area. They were rude, confrontational, never available and generally had no idea what they were doing.

The area is not well lit. There were always notces of burglary to cars as well as some strong arm burglary.

When I decided to move out the real harassment began. They refused to return any calls or faxes from other Apartments checing on my residency. They generally made my life miserable.

Please do not make the same mistake that I made. Find somewhere else to live
