A trap for rats and other critters....

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002
Oh sheesh...where do I start' The main issues:
1) Non-responsive maintenance - had to live with a leaky roof for 9 mos. (yes, I actually had to put pots on the floor to catch water when it rained).
2) Ant infestation - Did you know that "residents are responsible for pests inside the apartment" - even when you can provide evidence that the ant trail begins from outside!
3) The dumpster is used by residents and non-residents alike for an unwanted furniture (or anything else) dump. It begins to look like a junkyard after a while.
4) Grounds- worse condition of any apartment complex seen to date.
5) Parking - unless you arrive home before 4 pm, you might have to park clear across the complex.
6) price for the apartment - I realize that the apartments are older, but given the rent price, there are far more updated, well-kept apartment communities in the vicinity (within 5 mins. drive time).
7) The management company is by far one of hte worst that I have seen. This is not a "luxury" apartment relative to others in the area. If you are used to upscale apartment living - Steer Clear!
8) Moving in (and out) is a complete hassle. The winding staircases demand additional charges from moving companies (beyond the standard price per floor charge).
9) Airport traffic - 6 am to midnight
10) Termites
FYI - check out the crime statistics reported for this apartment complex with the local police department prior to moving in. The office won't supply you with any information, and once you are moved in, you won't want to find out.
