Mold Mold and More Mold

After finally moving out, within two days the headache and cough that I had suffered from during my very painful residence at Lofton Place was gone. I went back to clean my apartment and within 2 hours I was coughing really bad again. Since turning my keys in I haven't had another issue. There was a serious mold problem in my apartment and I was paying alot of money for that apartment - way overpriced. I felt like I was living in a dump. Cabinets dingy, counters painted over, closet door missing some of the wood, old appliances, something always breaking. I had a strange man knocking loudly on my door one evening - really scary. Break-ins and the washers and dryers weren't always working in the laundry room. I can't believe I stayed for a year. If you are going to charge close to market, the apartment should be maintained and close to market condition - otherwise, drop your price. Don't move in - the mold issue just isn't worth it. I can't even count the time I lost because I was sick in that apartment. Oh, and I haven't mentioned the bugs. I liked the people in the leasing office, but hated living there.
