When I came to look at the apts they seemed nice and so did the staff.
I lived in another town 4 hours away, I was put on a waiting list, my apt came available, from the time I looked at it and the time they called me my rent changed more than 50.00 so I rented it sight unseen and beleived what they told me.. (was told i had a upgraded kitchen that was why my rent from low to mid 800 to 990..they put new counter tops in..read on...I called to make sure it was not the one I didnot not want, and the leasing agent said it was not. My day on move in was a nightmare!!!!
My apt was filthy,, and it was the one I didnot want,,so here I sat with a huge uhual and 6 people to move me in with a dirty apt...(they did come back in and attempt to clean it the following week, I left everything in boxes because it was so dirty and had to come back the following weekend after they came back in, they changed my stove out (it was filthy and the eyes didnot fit...(remember this was a upgraded kitchen, and cleaned the carpet but again i had to come back to move everything out of the way(your feet was black after walking on them, 3 trips to tampa on the weekends i had to make)I was not compensated at all,,,(I also had to have a back procedured done the monday after i moved in,,,so talk about a nightmare they caused me. My apts was and is over run with ant's, I have been to the office 2x's over this...no call back and they said they would.) I regret moving in from day one,,,,,looks are deceiving.
Also in 2 months I have lived here..I have had 2 pair of shoes stolen from my front door outside. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l

Not to mention the ongoing crime problems, Lofton Place has a responsibility not just to their residents, but also to the surrounding community not to become a incubator for criminal activity.

Regardless of crime in the area if you leave your shoes outside it isn't the apartments fault that they were taken. Also, if you took an apartment before seeing it then shame on you. Maybe it's time to remember Buyer Beware! Make an educated choice next time and take responsibility for the choices you make!

FROM ANONYMOUS,,,,DOES NOT MATTER IF IT IS A EDUCATED CHOICE OR NOT!
THE OFFICE LIES (3 MGR'S IN LESS THAN A YEAR, NO ONE-ONE OFF THE STREET WOULD KNOW THIS) THEY SCREW UP YOUR LEASE THEN AFTER YOU MOVE OUT THEY TRY TO GET MONIES NOT OWED, THANK GOD FOR LEASES AND VIDEO CAMERA'S, BUT IT STILL A HEADACHE CAUSE YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE BULL c$%@#. THE OLD GUY WHO RIDES AROUND ONCE IN A BLUE MOON OR WALKS AROUND THE APT ONE TIME IS A JOKE....YOU CAN SEE WHAT GOES ON AT THE POOL AND PARKING AREAS JUST SET OUTSIDE....AND YES IT IS THE APTS RESPONSIBILITY TO THE RESIDENTS TO MAINTAIN THE GROUNDS WITH QUALIFIED HELP, AND TO KEEP THE PAPER WORK IN THE OFFICE CORRECT AND TO BE HONEST WITH ITS NEW RESIDENTS. I DONOT KNOW IF A LAW EXITS, BUT AS FAR AS I AM CONCERN IF SOMEONE IS LIED TO, TO GET INTO A CONTRACT IT IS A SCAM !!!!!!!!!!!
SO PEOPLE BEWARE FROM THE ABOVE !!!!
