if you like south tampa, you will find that the LOCATION IS WONDERFUL, its very easy to get to many places.
im not quite sure how many name changes this complex has undergone, or why.my building even has the wrong name on it! i believe that at one point they tried to go condo, just like all of the other apartment complexes at one point. obviously that didnt work out to well, why on earth would someone want to own an apartment, especially here'
i have had some friends that lived here a couple years ago, im not sure what the name was then, it was nice and they enjoyed living here.we talk often and compare my experience now to how it was when they lived here.a major difference is the OFFICE STAFF. the only person i ever see is the girl that i leased from.she is extremely friendly and helpful, but then again, shes not from florida so of course shes very friendly.i dont even know what anyone else looks like that works in the office.the MANAGER is VERY rude, snippy, and has a MAJOR ATTITUDE! i dont seem to be the only one in this complex that feels that way either!everyone would love to see her leave.she once walked past, or shall i say basically ran past me in the office once and couldnt even say hello. on the phone, when i have had numerous maintenance requests for the same thing and have had to finally ask for management, she is just down right rude.WHO PICKED THIS STAFF'
my friends used to live in a very spacious one bedroom with washer/dryer hookups and a fireplace, im in a tiny one bedroom without hookups, and i pay THE SAME FOR MY TINY ONE BEDROOM AS THEY DID FOR THEIR SUPER LARGE ONE BEDROOM JUST A FEW YEARS AGO!!
how can almost 300 less square feet be the same price now as a huge one just a few years ago'
they just REPAINTED the whole entire complex, and its looks FABULOUS. however, ALL THE PLANTS, SHRUBS, BUSHES, FLOWERS, ARE ALL BASICALLY DEAD! not all, but quite a few.i look outside my window and all of the little bordering shrubs are dead, some with paint on them, with tons of TRASH all mixed in.maybe if all the landscaping had mulch instead of NO MULCH ANYWHERE, JUST DIRT, you wouldnt notice the trash as well. the landscaping people DO NOT PICK UP ANY OF IT! there are bushes outside that are all CRISPY BROWN totally dead! how can you repaint all buildings but have all of the landscaping dead'MAYBE THEY WILL RAISE RENT AND MAKE US PAY FOR IT!i have never even seen sprinklers come on.
almost all of the rain gutters are falling down in all the buildings. the one in my building and many others is completely coming apart from the roof/side of building. a friend on the other side of the complex has had the same problem. we have both turned in numerou requests for this.he calls all the time to the office but no one seems to do anything.seeing as we are in HURRICANE SEASON
you would think they would care.i guess not because it has been weeks and guess what, nothing has been done.its so bad that the water during rain is pouring everywhere.you cant even get up the stairs, under them, down them , even with an umbrella you get completely soaked. about a month ago, my friend's girlfriend SLIPPED ON THE STAIRS due to the downpour from the gutter! when i went outside this morning, after a huge thunderstorm last night, i had CHUNKS OF GUTTER AND ROOF all over the stairs, and STEPPED ON A SCREW that went into my shoe, there were 3 screw that came from the gutter all over the stairs.
ive told them many times and turned in 3 requests, but no one has done anything.
i love the newly painted buildings, although every building HAS AN OLD NAME ON THE BUILDING BY THE BUILDING NUMBER, sometimes i forget the name of the complex. cant they remove those old names or put up new ones'and by the way, your building is never lit up on the front or back because the lights just dont ever come on, but maybe thats because they dont want you to read the old name and get confused.
not sure whats going on around here, but the management def. doesnt know how to RUN OR TAKE CARE OF THIS COMPLEX!
