My husband's serving at MacDill AFB. Mainsail South is not only convenient, near shopping and on bus lines, the neighbors are friendly, the parking is adequate, and the grounds haven't been "de-natured."
Our 2 bedroom overlooks the pond, and we enjoy the resident ducks and goose. I'm an Audubon member, and I've been delighted by the wild birds which I can see from the balcony: White ibis; great blue heron; common moorhen; tri-colored heron; and a variety of seagulls and songbirds.
We lived in the Grand Key complex for 6 weeks. Mainsail South is older... but better in many respects.
