Where to begin... How about an enumerated list? Here we go!
1) I have lived here 12 months, in 6 of those months the management made mistakes in billing. They cashed a check for the full amount of the rent then said it was $60 short and thus gave me a late fee.
1A) The portion of the electric overage that they give to you as a bill means nothing when they constantly make mistakes and if you pay the amount they told you instead of the amount that is due... you guessed it, late fee. (keep all of your papers cause you will need them).

2) My mail gets opened by the management then returned with "opened in error" on the package... sure it is, just like last time.

3) Management takes its time in removing even the most undesirable roommates. Since moving in here I have lived with 2 drug dealers. For most of my time here my apartment stunk of marijuana. The police will not respond to drug calls inside of malibu for whatever reason... ive tried calling them 1/2 dozen times. The management says "0 tolerance" but then used stall tactics for 6 months before evicting my last roommate for something else.

4) In the summer, the AC does not work well enough to keep any of the top floors below 80.

5) in the summer expect an electric overage of $50 per person per month.

6) The Verizon FioS they have in here is useless unless you are plugged into the wall. Also, you can forget about using a TiVo here because you do not have access to your FioS router and it will just fight with the other router all day.

7) You will NEVER see your deposit again. Management will decide to make up charges to keep the deposit... for instance "the grout color isn't the same as when you moved in" The thing is... it is the same, but nobody knows what the original color was before you moved in.

8) They are very clever about this one... this place has bad mold. They don't fix it but instead just cover it up with paint. My ceilings and walls are swelling
