The place is very good on fixing things right way but there is one problem...too many Latin people. They figure that just because you don't under Espanol, they can be loud!Hanging out on the stairs and throwing parties every weekend and oh lord, on the holidays! The parking is bad especially if you live in the back and you'll be parking by the front of the complex if you can't find a spot. There are families that live there although some are the residents are related somehow. It was safe though, I'll admit that, there were times I'd sleep with my window open and my car was never broken into. Not bad for an ungated community! If you like noise, then Marquis is the place to be. If only the manager dealt with the complaints the way that she should have,I'd still be living there.

Why would you write a review and hold only "latin" people accountable for the noise level ? In the whole time this person was living there, the only people who ever made noise or were loud were "latin" ? yeah right. & BTW Being Latin isnt the same as being hispanic. I highly doubt this issue is in direct correlation with a tenants nationality. Poor Taste and perhaps you should think before you write and label people.

My sincere apologies if I offend you in any way, for those are not my intentions. I would say that the complex is wonderfully located within Tampa, the maintenance staff does the best they can with what they have, unfortunately the office manager is just totally overwhelming! She is always in everyone's business, goes into tenant apartments when you aren't home, OUR CHILDREN can't run, can't play in anyway, not basketball, nor football, nor baseball, nor anything else that kids enjoy....then everytime we turn around, the pool is closed for one reason or another. Then to make matters worse, they don't have sufficient money to fix things that break in our apartments the right way - the first time around, but they can sure find the funds to plant a bunch of palm trees that aren't making our living conditions any better. Not to mention the fact that we have a bunch of empty apartments and folks are moving out in record numbers!!! Not sure what Marquis Apartments you live at....but it sure isn't the same one I live at.
