Lived in Meridian for a year. When I moved in the apartment was clean with a nice gift and information packet from the office. They have been doing lots of work recently, like putting on a New Roof and replacing bad exterior wood on some of the buildings. My AC was always very cold. Electric bill was not bad, about $80 each month with my AC at 72. Rarely heard tenants moving around upstairs as I was on the 1st floor. But could hear the washer on spin cycle next store when I was watching TV at night. The gate is a joke and you need a land line if you want to be able for guest to come in. It was broken often when I first moved in but has been much better lately. Parking is a problem, I work until about 11PM so by the time I come home there is no parking anywhere near my apartment. My dishwasher is horrible leaving a very heavy white grime on everything. Cabinets in kitchen and bathroom do have real wood on the outside but the inside is press board with the shelves sagging inside. There is very little indoor storage for the one bedroom/bath. The area in considered to be a bad for Tampa and my parents are relieved that I am moving. Had to call cops once because of two women yelling at each other outside my front door around 8PM on a weeknight. Lots of cop cars around at night, which is not a good sign. See them at least once or twice a week when I am coming home with someone pulled over at the 7-11 down the street or at other apartments near by. Did not really have a bug problem except for my patio, which had ants and roaches. Fan in bedroom and the walk-in closet were a nice plus but the fan causes the blinds on the window to made lots of nosie at night. Maintenance was good about fixing things right away. They do leave lots of notes on the door. Could not even have a plant outside my front door, got a note for that and one for a sign that I had on my door alerting that there was a cat inside. Had to take down sign and move my plant. Also lots of people walked by my kitchen window, my boyfriend even caught a few looking in when he was walking up.

For the money the apartment is a good value. Well update once I move out about how that went and if there were any extra charges.
