Okay, so I've been living here for a year and a half. When altamonte just became milana reserve. I dont care for the fact that the people have raised rent/expenses and then try to tell people that it is affordable. I feel sorry for those people. I was also pissed off because the price for animals has gone up by $100 dollars. Ant no way I'm paying a fee for one small animal that's $300. It just isnt worth it. I'm a college student, and I dont have money for that. Its a joke, honestly. When the people living next to us stay up until 3-4am in the morning drinking and making noise. Calling the cops dosent always work and the "manager" or what ever she's suppose to be doesnt do anything about it. Not to mention the first apt that I had here was full of roaches. The new one I have is okay, only a roach now and again (I mean this is Florida.)
But there $700 dollar 1B/1B is a rip off at best. The original price for a small 1/1 was $622- now is like $700 something. Just cause they are "renovating" gives them the right to bump up rent to however high they see fit- and then they put up signs like
"you can afford to live here!" Um, no not really since you bumped up the prices to $100 dollars!!!
Reality, if you got a great paying job that ant min. wage. And is at least $9.00 an hour maybe you can afford the smallest apt. But if your a college student living with a roomie, making less than that amount yet doing all you can- Your ----ed.
