The worst place I ever lived

When I moved in the staff was very friendly. Then moving day arrived. I refused to move into the apartment as there were roaches everywhere! They were pouring out of the light sockets and all over the walls. In one room I saw at least 20 of them. I was plagued with bugs the entire time I lived there. The appliances were old, and I was constantly calling maintenance out for broken water pipes.
There was one woman in the office who seemed to despise people in general. She was constantly sending out notices about things people were not allowed to do, such as sit on the stairs, wear 2-piece bathing suits at the pool. The pool was always covered in algae and the tennis court was a soppy mess.
There was a gate, but it didn't work most of the time. I had loud neighbors, frightening neighbors, and I heard gun shots more than a few times. The cops were always out there.
When I moved out I gave 2 months notice. I was still charged $600 for breaking my lease, even though I notifed the office on time. They denied getting the paperwork.
Everyday I was there I felt like I was living in a episode of Cops.

Gee, things sure havent changed in 10 years. My husband and I live here now and they've changed management to some company. We just spent a month waiting for our bathtub faucet to be fixed and it turns out they never called the plumber until the second time my husband contacted them. The roaches are still here and i hear the gunshots and sirens at night.
