Of course they had an apartment to move you into ASAP (the previous entry). That is because every one is moving out. As you drive around, look at all the vacant apartments. There is a reason for that. All surrounding communities are full and Newport has a ton of empty apartments.
Every decent resident has moved out and the horrible office is letting anyone move in. The only thing you might find in a vacant apt. is a drunk maintenence supervisor!
