I miss the old office staff!

When I arrived in Tampa in 2004, my parents helped me move into Newport Apartments. The original office staff was very helpful; I thought Newport was one of the best apartments I have lived in for many years. About a year ago, Newport changed ownership and the situation has quickly deteriorated. Now I have to renew my lease every seven months so they can jack up my rent. Newport has an exclusive contract with a crappy cable company (Ygnition/TVMAX). I had to get DirecTV because I am not allowed to get BrightHouse. The new office staff is rude. They had my FedEx package in the office for a week and said it was never delivered. They said if I renewed I would get free carpet cleaning. I am disabled and had a friend help me move furniture. I stayed in the apartment all day and the carpet cleaner never showed up. Because of my handicap, I am not able to just pick up and move. They need to do a better job of screening new tenants. The parking and noise is getting worse.
