Read that lease folks, any Apt complex built before 1980 can legally rent you an apartment with Asbestos popcorn ceilings as long as they put it in the lease. I believe my apartment also has a mold problem and noxious fumes come up from the kitchen plumbing. If you're environmentally sensitive, STAY AWAY.

These apartments have no dishwasher, the cabinets are old and falling apart and has the typical South Tampa plumming problems. Maintenance is also not very handy.

Currently the Oaks Apartments is remodeling inside and out and the rumor is they may be going condo soon so renter/buyer beware.

I now live there and NEW management is cleaning up. Looks GREAT and they ARE remodeling everything to look beautiful, but not to sell. To rent! I got a great deal- 150 deposit and they let my great dane in! We love it. Best apartment Ive had yet. Very comfortable! The NEW manager will ask you to let her know if you see mold anywhere ASAP so she can take care of it! The plumbing is that of any building built so long ago- but the maintanance will also come ASAP for any reason. Even on weekends! Sorry to last poster but I LOVE IT HERE! Dont plan on leaving any time soon!

The complex used to be nice. I love the old management and have a problem with new management. Nothing is getting done. Don't believe that blonde smile. I wish I could go over her head.
