I don't understand how anyone can have a positive review of this apt complex. If they think The Excellence is "nice', I'd hate to see what they'd consider bad.

I lived there for about a year. The place is a dump.

The nice fountains that run through the middle of each building never ran in my building. The pool of water just turned a mucky color and got full of garbage and urine from the loud drunk "every night is a party" kids.

The sewage pump in the parking lot OVERFLOWS!!! How can raw sewage overflow into a PARKING LOT'!! Is that legal' At least once per month the parking lot in the back corner smelled like a toliet and this annoying alarm on the pump that was meant to alert people would buzz for days.

The garbage bins were always full and overflowing. Not to mention, they are far too close to the buildings. I feel bad for the people who live next to them. They get to sit on their back porch an entire 15 ft away from an over-flowing garbage heap.

The other tenants were rude, loud, and destructive. The whole building constantly got notes on our doors from the management saying "Whomever did this, you better turn yourselves in, or else we'll evict you." That's about all that was ever done. Fire alarms were pulled in the middle of the night, a fire extinguisher was used in the stairwell once, loud music and crazy parties would go on all night and every night, people pee'd in the stairwells and elevator (although the elevator generally was broken), etc, etc...

And the apartment itself was terrible too. It was a nice size and layout, that's about all that was good about it. We were on the 1st floor and we kept finding GIGANTIC ant piles in our utility closet. I mean, at least a bucket full of sand swarming with ants that could climb under the wall to get back outside. The water smelled so bad. I hated showering because the smell of sulfer was so strong I wanted to gag. Someone stole a bicycle off our back porch. They cut through the screen and just took it while we were asleep on the other side of the glass door. Our front door broke once (jammed shut) and so we had to go out the sliding glass door for about 5 or 6 days and just leave it unlocked so we could get back in.

This is the worst apt complex ever. I would rather live in my car than live there.
