First off, I know that anyone who gives this place a positive rating must either work there, or be paid to put a message on this website. I lived in Excellence for a year, and I was counting the months until I could move out and go somewhere more humane.

The place smells like sewage 24-7, so when you shower you have to hold your breath, and make it as fast as possible.
Our apartment had fleas and roaches the entire year, and my roommates and I are really clean. The apartment was moldy and our ceiling caved in half way through the year, so every time it rained, we would have to pick up pieces of plaster. (By the way, it never got fixed.) Whenever my parents came to visit, I was embarrassed to show them where I lived.

The worst part about the whole experience was the management. They were rude and didn't care about anything but money. We never got our deposits back, despite the fact that we cleaned for 3 days straight before we moved out (The place was spotless when we moved). They had my forwarding address the whole time, so thats not the excuse they could give me. This place is a complete rip off.

The one good thing I have to say is the maintenance guys tried their best, though there were only about 2 of them, and there was so much ---- wrong with the complex, they were fighting a losing battle.

Overall, this place is so disgusting I wouldn't even recommend it to a homeless person. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

FYI, if you've never needed to drink bottled water before, you will once you move to the Excellence (On 50th); I recommend Zephyrhills or Publix spring water (cheaper) or Propel (melon) for taste, even though I've been informed that mineral-enhanced water, Dasani, perhaps, is better for you.
