I stayed there from 1/2008 to 1/2009 and was very happy. I have read some of the earlier reviews and was a little worried. When I visited in the evening there were elderly out walking and said hello to the the lady (Irene) who was showing me the apartment. It was if they were family! I took this as a good sign! I also decided on the fact it was CLOSE to the MacDIll gate. If anyone is working at MacDIll this place cant be beat for closeness! Only 0.7 of a mile to the gate. Another reason was all of their apartments came with washer and dryers!! This was about $30 extra per unit per month in all the other places I looked at, thats $60 more per month!. The maintenance staff fixed the two problems the next day. The units were very very quiet and peacefull. The staff kept an eye on out the pool, even let some neighbor kids swim, but told them as long as they behave! I thought this was pretty cool. And of course Irene knew my name and always welcomed me with a smile. I left the apartment cause I bought a house. My depeosit check came in without a problem about 7 days after I left. There was no problem with parking. No boats allowed and if you ahve a motorcycle, you have to pay the $30 extra for covered parking. Oh yes.. WATER and BASIC CABLE are included. This was very nice for a single guy! ALl in all I would stay there. Stop by and ask for Irene, she is a very nice and professional! They are lucky to have her!
