Two days after I moved in, I was robbed of over $10k in family heirloom jewelry as well as my laptop. It was an inside job because the thief let themselves in with a key... the staff is beyond incompetent and I wouldn't recommend this rathole to my worst enemy. Everyone I know has been warned about this dump. They truly give new meaning to the phrase "Appearances can be deceiving".

Was any action taken by the main office? I'm really sorry that happened to you!

I lived in this complex three years ago. One night I had some friends over because we were renting out the clubhouse for a birthday party. Well, one of my guests forgot something at my place, so I gave her my key to go back and pick it up. Well, she had forgotten which apartment was mine (it was her first visit there that day, plus she'd had a couple of drinks!) and she went to what she thought was my apartment. Well, it was obviously the wrong one, but my key worked on their apt.! My point is, they probably only have maybe three different kinds of locks, and your key works for roughly one of every three of your neighbors' doors! That would explain the "inside job" that you are mentioning. It's just something to investigate. I live there again, but am outta there in one week. I have an ever NOT SO WONDERFUL 80 lb. dog living above me, and I'm not sure who stomps around and barks more, the dog or his owner! Did the office do anything about that? Nope. See ya!
