Well, i've been living at the preserve for a little over a year. Here are the facts: Yea, there are theses insects that enter the house and no one knows where they come from or how they get in. Its not just one type also, i've seen at least 10 different kind of species of insects. some of them haven't been classified. it gets bad sometimes. lol I had a big ---- roach in the RIM of the freakin toilet. imagine my suprise when i went to sit on the toilet at 3 in the morning! The complex was originally built on a wetland so that would explain the huge ---- roaches and small annoying gnats. They are relentless.
The community itself is pretty nice and safe, contrary to what other people are saying.
The real problem is the MANAGEMENT STAFF. There were two young ladies (Nina and Kristen), they were pretty nice and quick at resolving issues, but i guess they were working too hard. They recently got let go. Now, i see what other residents have been referring to as far as bad management goes. The company that owns the complex is the PITS! You can't talk to them, they are the slowest to get anything resolved, and above all, they dont seem to want to work with existing residents. i have unfortunately experienced this first hand along with others people in the complex.
Overall, if you don't have to deal with the management here, you should be OK, it's a nice place to stay, very close to I75. The residents are nice and there is usually no issues concerning safety. JUST WATCH OUT FOR THE PLETHORA OF BUGS AND THAT POOR EXCUSE FOR A MANAGEMENT COMPANY EQUILEASE! Don't be fooled first meeting, the management problems come after you sign a lease and a problem becomes apparent.

Never recommend this to any one the ladies at leasing office are very rude maintainance is very very bad no security pools are not clean
