I moved here in 2004 after I went thru a divorce. For the first few years things were ok and the cheap rent allowed me to save some money. Things got worse the past two years. I have had my vehicle stolen. My room mate had his motorcycle stolen.There have been numerous car thefts and vehicle break ins. I've heard and seen numerous fights and one incident involving gunfire.

Maintenance is a joke. Took almost a year to get them to replace our dryer. I've also had maintenance come into my room in the middle of the day when they have not been asked to come by. When you ask them why they are there they pretend that they can't speak English. This might be true since they spray painted "Press Botton" on the trash compactor to encourage residents to press the button on the compactor.

Management overcharges for electricity and when I called them on that they could not explain it. They sent me a threatening letter because I had an outstanding balance of a penny. When I went to pay they would not take cash...only check or money order for a freaking penny.

Only move here if it will keep you from living in the streets.
