There is nothing nice to say about River gardens......My family and I lived there for a year and were more than happy to leave. In the first week we lived there there was a shooting, later a stabbing, I had Homeland Security come looking for my neighboor pointing guns at me and my husband. Then my second set of neighboors I had to call the cops on for beating his wife, they were always screaming and fighting at all hours. For 8 months I had a leak in my bathroom ceiling that grew mold and was over a foot in diameter. Maintenace was horrible; they didn't speak english, they would come but never fix anything and document to the office that the problem was fixed. Then they messed up my lease and put my last month rent as a security deposit and to this day refuse to give me the security deposit back without a receipt, which they never gave me in the first place. The new manager is a total B*TCH!!!! Refused to help with anything, yelled and cussed out the assistant manager, Veronica, who is the only nice person in the entire place, who was 8 months pregnant just for trying to help us get our money back!! I would never recomend these aprtments to anyone!!!
