I frequented this site often when looking for an apartment in the summer of 2008. My advice to people who are doing the same right now, take the overall negativity of this site with a grain of salt... even better - a spoon of sugar.
I'm not saying that there aren't some people with credible issues that have given negative reviews (to this complex and this site in general), just that often they are a minority of the experiences of tenants. People are much more likely to go on and rant over some problem they had, than rather go and write about a good experience. So for every bad experience you read, expect that there have been a lot more good ones.
With that aside... there is very little I can think of complaining about here. It is all very nice. The complex is clean inside and outside. Office staff always are there to make you feel like you're at home. Not too many places know your name!
Maintenance is friendly and reliable. From what I have seen, most who work here also lives here. The workers in the office are very helpful if you have any question (and this being my first real apartment, I had plenty of questions).
The area is in a great location - there are plenty of stores close by. Located off Hillsborough Ave, I-4, 275. Minutes from Bush Gardens.
The gym is very nice. It is small, but it has all the necessary machines, and is never very crowded. Their free weight dumb bells only go up to 150 lbs.
So as I have said, the apartment complex is very good, and I recommend you stop by and take a look - you get what you see.

So, would you say that the back area isn't a ghetto where stabbings, shootings and theft occurs? I have to say, those reviews were pretty scary and would certainly turn me off from condsidering this place. I've lived in several apartment complexes (never in Tampa) and have found that some areas are occasionally reserved for the trouble makers.
