First and foremost, I would like to tell all the people complaining about Archstone, to move out if they don't like their living situations. We don't need negative people like all of you......move out if you're so unhappy. Oh that's right, if you moved out where would you go' Camden' Captiva Club' Exactly, those places are far more "ghetto" than Archstone people. That's why you all still live here. Archstone is exactly what it seems, a nice place to live in a not so nice part of town, with nice apartments, beautiful landscaping, mostly friendly neighbors and staff. The women who work in the front office are always very professional and timely. I could never imagine having a problem with them. The maintenance guys are friendly as well and complete work orders the same day of the request.
Let me tell you this, I moved down to FL about 2 years ago with my boyfriend, we have lived in 3 different apt complexes so far because none of them have been what they seem at first, but Archstone is wonderful....we are actually upgrading to a 2 bedroom in Septemeber instead of moving out when our lease is up.
And this comes from someone who actually had their car broken into. YES I SAID IT it is true. I even called the police and had a report filed. BUT THIS IS NOT THE MANAGERS OR ARCHSTONES FAULT!!! You can't be mad at the people who did nothing to hurt you... be mad at FL's gov that does nothing to keep kids out of trouble... redirect your anger some where else. Archstone is a fine place to live!!!

I currently live at Archstone and have for three years. It is a very nice place. The maintenance is great. Once our air conditioning went out around 10:00 at night and Jim, our maintenance person was there in 30 min. The staff is great also. I do admit that the gates have been open for quite sometime but that is due to people running into the gates. They are now fixed. The trash problem has been resolved - a new trash compactor. The grounds are immaculate. True some cars were stolen others broken into, but I'm sure the surrounding apartments have the same complaints. It is true when our first or second year lease was up the rate went up drastically - 100.00 and now going into our fourth year it has gone up 50.00. Our jobs have relocated and we have to move otherwise we would still be there.

I have been living here for three years and have been happy but the new management is not professional. Security is not good.
