BIG IMPROVEMENTS

I have lived in this apartment complex for over a year now. I have to say the previous comments surprised me a little. Yes we do have issues with maintenance, it does take entirely too long to get the problems fixed and when they are fixed they are only semi fixed. Just enough to get you by until whatever the problem was breaks again. The building is very old and so is the plumbing ect.I have never seen a roach in my apartment and when I did see two ants I called the office and the bug guy was there the next day..never saw another bug after that.As far as drug dealers and crack heads...I don't see em. I'm not looking for them either, and I'm sure we have a few, they are just not blatantly out there because it would not be tolerated. Not to mention every place you go whether its upscale or low income drugs are there. The place is not perfect, however I do see allot of improvements. Such as the grounds are cleaned often by part of the maintenance staff. We did have a problem with one of the security guards, but he was replaced quickly. One of the pools is kept clean, working and safe. One of the previous comments mentioned the low class of people that live here. Perhaps that is somewhat true, it is a large complex there might be a few unsavory tenants, but that is not the majority. Most of us are hard working, college educated parents who came to Royal Oaks because the apartments are pretty big and the rent is cheap.
