Since moving in (March 2005), I have experienced nothing but problems.

The trash dumpster (yes, only one on the property) is woefully inadequate for the amount of debris generated at this complex. Every weekend, MOUNDS of garbage pile up outside of the overflowing compactor creating unsanitary conditions. Nevermind the awful eyesore it creates. Of course, I would be remiss if I failed to mention the appliances that are occassionally stacked out there for weeks on end. Please don't let your children near this area!

As mentioned in previous posts, the security gates have not worked in the five months I have lived here. That was one of the big selling points they pushed when I was looking for a residence. They say it is too expensive to fix them. I say all of the crime that is allowed into the complex is far more costly.

Since moving in, I have witnessed multiple incidents requiring the sheriff's department attention. Maybe some of these could be prevented by limiting access to the complex'

While we are talking about gates, lets also discuss the broken fence. The fence is broken in several places around the complex, allowing people to freely come onto the property from other areas. In fact, a large group of youths come from the next door complex to use out tennis courts as a skating park.

Speaking of crime, lets discuss the lack of security when they accept packages for you at the main office. No one keeps track of who comes in to pick up packages. According to the staff, "It's on the honor system." MAybe theives aren't as honorable as they would like them to be because I have had property stolen from there. The only response I got from them was "Well, it has never happened before." No offer of reimbursement and they have not changed their policy.

Ongoing power surges plague the property. Every day I have to reset the clocks around the apartment when I get home from work. A serious surge protector is a MUST.

I could go on forever: problems with the water billing, leasing consultants who curse in front of my family, lack of response from maintenance to fix leaks, etc.

I would strongly encourage everyone to stay away from this place.

buy a surge protector for everything. and I mean everything I have. if not you'll be buying new stuff. also be foreward, you cannot live on this property if you do not buy rental insurance. granted its a good thing to have but I dont think a property should demand it or you get evicted. if you cancel it while living here your insurance company will notify them and they will charge you a fine until you get it back.
