I lived there from 2002 through 2004 paid rent early or on time every month and left paid in full. sometime between around the end of 2007 I find out they put a
174.46 invoice into a collection agencey. They never contacted me even though they had my contact information. I couldnt believe it when I got turned down for credit because of this. I thought there was some kind of mistake., I called the Managment at Sable Palms and they said their corporate office caught accounting errors on my water and trash charges for the time I lived there. #1 Not my fault. I paid all my bills as they were given to me. #2 too late .... 3 years later you are going to charge me for trash pick-up and water. # 3 I should have been contacted. I would have disputed it but I should have been given a chance before my credit rating was adversly effected. I am sure this practice is not leagal,but what am I going to do hire a lawyer to try and get my $174.46 back. When I complained to Managment they said they would pay the collection agencey only to back out later. As far as my living experience there I would rate below par (That why I moved to a diffferent apatment. There was several occurences of stolen cars being dumped there while I lived there.

I love it here I visit the nice young ladies in the office for their coffee frequently. I used to be in the industry ages ago and can tell you that this does not seem accurate. Amber catches things as soon as she notices something and she has been there a long time. She even caught when the computer charged me incorrectly for my renewal. I would say if you are going to dispute it, all you have to do is contact the credit bureaus. They will investigate and then take off if false. It is easy to do. Good luck. I also received a letter the other day that they are using a new tow company to patrol at night for abandoned, or other issue vehicles. This could help. I would rather have a vehicle left by my building (5) rather than taken. I also have had their nice young man John help carry my groceries in as well as my trash out.
