The day I moved in, the gates were not working. Probably my biggest mistake was trusting the manager when I was assured that they had just broken and a part was on order. In the 9 months I have lived here, the gates have worked for maybe a combined 3 weeks. In that time, BOTH my apartment AND my vehicle were broken into and of course, the management didn't care. I was just given the same story time after time that they were working on getting the gates fixed again. There were other times when I am sure that someone has been in my apartment, even though nothing was missing.
I can cite similar experiences to the previous poster's comments where I have returned home in the middle of the day and in the middle of the night to find young men wandering aimlessly through the parking lot. They obviously do not live in the complex, they were just wandering aimlessly...this is what the gates should prevent. The office staff is very friendly, but they just specialize in collecting rent and telling you what you want to hear. The last couple maintenence requests either went unanswered or they did a poor job making only a temporary repair. My a/c does not cool properly and I'm waiting on my fridge to go out. I took it upon myself to clean the mold and repaint the stains caused from a leak in the upstairs unit. It is a shame, this would be a nice complex, but I would not recommend anyone move here unless they don't mind poor security.
