I currently live at the Park and have not had any real trouble. Maintenence can be a little lax at times, but it is a huge property, so I can understand if somethings take a little more time to get around to than others (someone with an A/C broken takes priority over a leaky faucet). As far as safety, I have never felt unsafe here. I've never had any problem as far as car breakins, etc. As with anywhere...park your car near light..DUH! No matter where you go in Tampa, if you park your car in a dark secluded area (not many here since the property is pretty well lit in most areas) or leave it unattended for long periods of time, it's bound to end up getting broken into. Parking is sufficent and I never have a problem parking right in front of my apartment. The only real problem I have ever had was in the first apartment here that I rented and it had more to do with the hoodlums that lived next to me than anything else (they ended up picking up and leaving in the middle of the night anyway). Since I switched apartments everything has been nice and quiet. Friendly neighbors and staff. The interiors of the older apartments leave something to be desired, but I moved into a renovated apartment and it has fared pretty well for me. I just wish I had hard-wood floors instead of carpet in the living room! Now that would be a step up:-)

I do agree that some complaints on this website are valid, but they are blown WAY out of proportion (Keep in mind this is a huuuuge property). No matter what apartment complex you live in, there are bound to be issues with maintenance, staff, etc. The trick is to deal with these issues politely and professionally, and 99% of the time your problem will be resolved as quickly as possible. If your a jerk and try to act like you own the place, chances are nobody is going to be very helpful-and rightfully so.



And no, I do not work on the staff-I'm just being honest and REASONABLE.
