I moved into the complex at the end of May, and I must say that so far, I have not been impressed. First off, I was supposed to be getting a ground floor unit, and I called a few days before I moved in, and they told me that the person in that unit had decided not to move out, so I had to get an upstairs unit. They did not call me, but only told me this when I called them. The property was sold to me as a gated community, but I found out that the gate hasn't been closed in 3 years, and will soon be coming down all together. Also, after about a week and a half of living on the property, I came out to find that someone had attempted to steal my truck. The Sheriff's Department has since told me that they are in the complex almost every night due to some issue, and I have also learned that there is a low-security school for problem kids adjoining the property, which causes a lot of issues like the one I experienced.
Some friends also moved in at the same time that I did, and their A/C went down. The air only got fixed after 5 days and multiple promises later from the Maintainance that it would be taken care of that day.
The apartments are fairly clean and well built, but it has been the other issues that have left a bad taste in my mouth. In all likelyhood, I will be moving when my lease is at it's end.
