I have lived in Sailwinds, now Park at Lake Mag. for over 3 years. Now the back area, which is where I live, is turning into condo's. I wanted to move to the front of the building. They told me "no problem, you have lived here so long and have been such a great tenant..." Anyway, long story short, they want to charge me 300.00 deposit, 300.00 pet deposit when my previous deposit was 10.00! I have had the same pets there. Now they claim they need all this documentation, pictures and need to see my pets. With my life, as I have explained to them over and over, they are making this move impossible for me. I give the new Park at Lake Magdalene a big "F" for failure. The apartment I live in now has RATS as big as my feet. They have migrant workers (at least 10 of them in a one bedroom) shacked up in the vacant apartment above me. That really gives a girl who lives alone that special safe feeling. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!

I am also a resident of this apartment complex. I would not be surprised if they had migrant workers stuffed in one room. The worker that I often see drives around in a golf cart trying to pickup leaves or something. I once said hello to him and he just grunted like Frankenstein.

I feel like I just wrote this review. I too have lived here for many years (4), and am also in the condo conversion area. In order to move to the front, they also want a $300 dep (my original dep was $99), and also another pet deposit.

I highly recommend that no one ever moves here. The apartments are over 35 years old, and the new management only painted a bit and did some landscaping and advertise that they've done million dollar renovations.

I was very fortunate to have a very nice apt, and because they have only sold about a third of the units, I was hopeful that they'd continue to let me rent. No...they actually offered my apt to someone because of the great condition it's in. but even if they hadn't sold it from under my feet, it's best that I move. I feel very uncomfortable with all the migrant workers (about 10 or so live next door to me).

I lived there for thre years, they evicted me after Dawn ( not even sure if she is there ) told me two days before it was okay because we explained my fiance got laid off. Dawn assure it was okay we paid the next week and surprise surprise I get a call my fiance in tears two days later an eviction note was on our front door, taped for the world to see even though she was at home. She states no one ever knocked or rang the doorbell. Our dishwasher had no bottom so there was a gaping hole under neat and they had to have not cleaned that place in about 2 years judging by the broken plate and dusk under neat. Our water smelled and had us and our dog sick if we drank it. We found when we were moving we had massive mold build ups in the hallway and backroom closet ( we are both extremely clean individuals ). My fiance had a bike and was hit when someone ran a stop sign, which they did all the time. We had previously constantly asked them to either make the signs bigger or have cops come in from time to tiem as I had almost been hit myself countless times. She broke her knee cap and the bike was near destroyed. I went to the office to advise them and they did nothing. The lights in front of my townhouse went out, all of them which had it highly unsafe, we contacted the office multiple times and they never did anything. My new bike ended up being stolden which may or may not have happened anyways but I feel if the lights were on it would not have happened. Just multiple problems with no resolve.
