I lived there for 10 years. I moved away 3 years ago, but I have driven through the property recently and like the way the grounds and landscaping have matured. If I ever moved back to Tampa and had to find a rental, it'd still be my number one choice. Yes, it is an older apartment community, but it is in a nice neighborhood, close to restaurants, grocery stores, banks, etc. And ... hey ... it is located amisdst three lakes. I always felt safe there. And you can't beat the fact that they have very nice courtyards for the lower level apartments.

I really like the surroundings of the place. The lake view is definitely a refresher, and the complex is conveniently located near stores and entertainment. The only bad thing is that it is challenging to get in and out of the complex especially during rush hour. Also, before the entrance was not very well lighted. I used to slow down after I pass Armenia Ave. because I was afraid to make a sudden right turn. Now, they have at least installed some light fixtures, so it's easier to see it. As for my complaint, some of us have had terrible experience with the maintenance staff. It's really hard to enjoy the view when you're putting up with extreme temperature conditions especially when the AC unit is not working.

i'm glad u were happy there. I had doors falling off, rats in the kitchen and surrounding areas outside the building. in one year i encountered six rats not mice rats. the apartments look good because of landscaping but really look at them they are very dirty. they have crazy people comming off of fletcher ave. and going to these wonderful rental units they are not safe and they have very bad lighting. they also have breakins but they wont tell you this of course. it's a very nast place to live and look how much money you pay for this it's a great location alright fits in just perfect with carrollhood that area used to be nice
