Nothing ever gets fixed. They want the residents to move out before they even fix the problem, so that the next resident has to deal with the issue. I had toilet bowl leaking for the last 12 months, and they told me that I was on a waiting list for the last 12 months. The cieling has water stains, and the A/C leaks downstairs and doesn't work. And on top of that it brings up a huge bill. I have cardboard covering two holes in 2 different windows because they wont come and fix it. There are water bugs starting to overcome the house. I'm down to one sink in the kitchen, and the pool in the complex is green. The trash piles up like a landfil and they don't pay to have it removed. The managment is extremely rude, and when you complain about anything in your apartment they try to evict you to avoid fixing any problems. This is like living in poverty. The managment takes personal vendettas against it's residents, and makes the tenants feel like they're hopeless and defenseless and like they need to keep there mouths shut or they'll e evicted. The problems NEVER get resolved no matter what happens, and the same Rude and Ignorant, and Arogant management is there. The corporate office is in Texas and they just mind there own usiness as long as they get there money. The ABSOLUTE worst experience of my life and /or anyone who lives here! NEVER EVER MOVE HERE. My neighbor on there first month living here had a sewage pipe bust in their living room and Fico matter was all over the couches and floor. That's how bad things have to get before they fix anything around here.

I know what you are talking about. I too had a fecal back up in my apartment and at the time my child caught the only infection. A staph infection. I took 3 different kind of antibiotics to fix the problem, and on top of that my child caught a yeast infection that was caused by the medication from the antibiotics. I asked to have my apartment changed and submitted doctors notes, heck I even asked to have a mutual decission signed so none of us would be responsible for breech of contract. They would not even meet me half way. I have a lawyer now looking into the situation. And with having CODE of ENFORCEMENT on their backs I have a better chance. My advice to all you renters dealing with the abuse, WE HAVE RIGHTS. Instead of paying your rent take your money to the courts and explain why you do not want to pay rent, show proof if you have it, bring in recorder conversations if you can, and I guarentee you that the courts will step in. The courts will hold your money and pressure will be put on the managements back, and if they still do not fix on the time frame given, then it is all in your favor. You will get your money back from the courts, so you can use it to move, and you can move with no worries. And nothing goes on your credit report. That is the legal way. I am doing it as we speak. It is a lot of work, but at the same time----It pays, the one who suffers, the MANAGEMENT. This advise came to me from one of the old management team member that was here, when I first moved in. My lease is up soon, I have more then enough to move, rent a truck, and buy new furniture. When my lawsuite is over I can guarentee I will own my own property. Thanks to San Marin and their staff.
