Wow where should I start on this horrible apartment complex. Lets start with the grounds the so called lake is hidden by ugly pink buildings and the little bit of grass that the place has is used a bathroom for dogs. Then besides that there is wood chips everywhere. The parking is horrible I have to park at the end of the parking lot and walk 5 minutes to my apartment and just imagine how nice that walk is when its pouring rain outside. Now, lets get started on the apartment its self I have been living here since January 1, 2008 on my families very first night the fuse box busted and we had to go with out lights. They came back on the next day but then our hot water heater decided to blow. We complained of course but we still had to go without hot water for 2 weeks. Then we began to notice that a small puddle of water began to grow around the tub until it go worse and flooded our whole upstairs bathroom because a pipe had busted. Even though they fixed the leak in the bathroom the tub still somehow leaked, it leaked on to our living room ceiling and because of that mold began to grow. I told the "nice helpful" people in the office and what did they come and do to the mold if you guess call a professional your wrong they came and spray painted it with white spray paint. The office thought that would be cool because they live by the saying "out of sight out of mind." I would write more but my hands are starting to cramp. Oh and we have a screened in balcony if you count that one half of it is broken but don't worry they will come and duct tape it down for you. Saying this place sucks is too much of an under statment its horrible take it from a person thats only been here five months. Go very far far far away from here because this place is managed by satan.

Ok, First let me state that I too have had problems but they do get fixed. I still love the place. They have just done some wonderful things at the pool area. New pool chairs, gates,(then kids hit the gates with bicycles and broke the lock). The skate boarding kids and kids on bikes are getting under control at the pool too. They fixed the lock and the pool area is now beautiful. The biggest problem is those who are damaging the property and don't care. There are many and will be weeded out very soon. They are looking for tenants who care. Many cars here don't belong, last night my husband chased out a man and family who were using the pool after it had been shocked, he got into a heated arguement about leaving saying he lived here but then backed his truck up so no one could get his plate number, he didn't live here, but was trying to use the pool and was messing with the life saving device. We have had tenants use this like a toy. You try to talk to them and they play like they don't understand english so this is then handled by office staff who are bi-lingual. I have lived in worse and paid alot more. We painted out own apartment kitchen and are doing alot of repairs that are easy ourselves because the men who work here are too busy to fix everything. You do know we haven't had rain in months that was very helpful in growing grass, plus the kids play and distroy the grass in several areas with football and so forth. There are water restrictions so I don't want to see water wasted on the grass myself. The wood chips are a problem because of fleas and dogs that deficate and owners who don't pick up the mess. There are a many tenants who don't care who live here and I want us all to have meetings to discuss some of the issues we have here but we are waiting to hear back. I would like to see parking spots for tenants marked for each apartment, atleast one for every unit if not two for bigger units. Then we would know who shouldn't be here. If you have a problem call CIS the security company here and they will be here in a snap. The also call the sheriff. We have pool guards who come in and control the kids at the pool now and take care of the problems at the pool all the time. Now as far as the buildings, they will be painted soon soon I was told but you expect things to be done fast, well with almost 200 apartments it isn't as fast as it can be for some. I don't have screens on my patio because I am waiting for them to paint. They are to paint all the buildings, replace the doors, paint the doors and put new screens on the patios. We are getting new windows as well. I am hoping it will be soon. I don't know who you are but if you come to # 285 I will talk to you about your problems with the units and I hope make you feel better, however if you are a problem tenant and are not wanted here please leave and allow new tenants move in who care. I want to talk to those who will take an interest in the units and the kids and the problems. If you don't get a work order for repairs they don't get done, if you do and things are not fixed keep the work order open until it is fixed properly. This is important. it took months to find our leak in the upstairs bath but it is now fixed well and everything is great. I had leaky faucets and tubs and all but there were tenants here before that didn't care so I got stuck with these problems. Parking will be an issue until we find out who lives here and who doesn't but stays here and are not on the lease. I am known as mama-max and I will listen to your problems and help you resolve them with the office for you if you ask. We really want happy and helpful tenants who care and are willing to be looking out for trouble and calling the security office. Cars that park here and park illegally are towed every night with our towing company. The apartment complex was built in the 70s so they are old but really built well. The new ownership will make the changes as fast as they can. The used to be called Del Lago apts, now with new ownership it's called San Marin. I will be staying for a very long time. I love the office staff and those who maintain the apartments, these are great caring people and will do what you need done if you ask. Parking isn't perfect and again this is an issue with too many cars that don't belong here. We also have alot of kids whos parents don't watch them, or care what they do. I hope this changes soon. Please feel free to come and see me and I will help you. I do not work for the company but will explain what you need to do to get our apartment fixed and help with the office to get your complaints resolved. Things are changing as we speak but how much can be done in only a few months when the last ownership here didn't care. The new ownership cares and is in the process of doing everything needed to fix this place up, time is the satan you speak of, not the office staff or the corporation who now owns it. We have tenants who trash apartments, we have been in them after people move and you wouldn't believe the damage. Please call the office and have your apartment sprayed for bugs, ask for repair orders if you don't think it's done right and they will do it right. I swear. We want happy people here who are friendly and helpful.

This individual seems to be deluded into believing that things are being done, but every sentence is about things that are in the process of getting fixed. Tenants do cause a great deal of problems, but ANY business taking money SHOULD be providing services for the money being charged. Why should any tenant paying rent be held hostage to WHEN management gets around to fixing the issues? If the management had the mindset to take over the building, then it should have been prepared to fix the issues that came with taking over. Finally, no tenant should need another tenant's help in getting things fixed. Does this tenant have special powers that no on else has? I think not! Tenants have legal rights to live free of pests, troublemakers, mold, and anything else that they are NOT paying for just to live in this complex. Be real, if management really wanted to fix the issues, they would do so BEFORE taking any further monies and moving people in.
