Too many late night pool parties

For what I paid in rent I have to admit that they are not bad apartments. I have never had a problem with the management or the maintenance personel. They were always professional and curtious to me and any work orders I submitted were usually resolved that day or the next day at the latest.
However that being said; the problem is not the staff or the facilities but the neighbors. I have an apartment that overlooks the pool area and every weekend it is always filled with people who hang around by the pool until 2-3AM drinking and talking/screaming. In addition to all of this there are parents who allow small children to run rampant around the pool with little or no supervision. There are toys left all over the area, (I actually found a large remote control car INSIDE the hot tub once.) beer bottles everywhere along with open bags of food which are often enjoyed by various local wildlife.
Although I have had many good experiences during my time here I feel that they are far outweighed by the excessive noise and lack of respect by my fellow neighbors. This whole area should be a place to be enjoyed by all and the rules should be followed instead of being abused. It would be difficult for me to recommend this place for anyone to live in. Do yourself a favor. Rent a house since you will most likely get more for your money and will have less chance of having noisy people living next to you.

Hey a-hole if you don't like or approve of this place, yhy don't you rent the house. Maybe you shoud not have rented in this tight knit community. we are all friends and family.n And no one appreciates you and your boyfriend(s) in the hot tub in the middle of the night

Dear BFGG, if your so unhappy living at South Pointe why don`t you take your own advise and move into a one story house? That would save you the pain from huffing up and down the breeze-way stairs. And, thanks for your concern but, the children at the pool are well supervised.

I am a mother and bring my child to our pool. It is highly unacceptable to make false accusations about the parents or community residents that partake in the pool atmosphere. I have lived at South Pointe for almost 4 years and have never witnessed a child unsupervised & to say such a thing is absolutely ludicrous. To your comment regarding toy's being left out - I can assure you it is not the complex children leaving their toy's by the pool. Why don't you look to "outside" residents utilizing our facilities -that DO NOT LIVE HERE.. Do me a favor? Move to a kid free, silent environment - may I suggest a retirement home?
