the good, the medium, and the bad

The good:
Nice complex. Safe. Maintenance is prompt. Sales agents are nice.
The medium:
Noise is moderate. A fair number of USF students in the complex. Can easily hear footsteps above you, music in next apartment, etc. Hasn't been terribly bothersome, but we've had relatively quiet neighbors. The gym isn't maintained very well. It can take months to fix something. Someone walked off with free weights several months ago and they haven't been replaced. Reduced value of complex to me considerably.
The bad:
Don't believe a word the sales agents say...get EVERYTHING in writing and SIGNED by manager. Because I do have to agree with others that the manager is either not terribly smart or a complete ----- (and I rarely use that word). She won't stand by what her agents say. In addition, if you used to live there and the manager made you repay concessions to get out of a lease, call a lawyer. They try to make you repay concessions, but cannot do this under Florida law.
