I have lived at Terrace Pointe for 3 years now, and I have tried and tried to find an apartment (upstairs and down) that is quiet enough that I don't have to hear footsteps, banging, or music. It is impossible. The management has changed hands a number of times. Watch out for the assistant manager, she is a ----- in disguise. If you want to live there, the fascade is a good one for the first month or so. After that, you are on your own for defending yourself, your complaints about the neighbors, and the safety of your complex. For as much as they have raised the rent there, you would think they would at least get a gate to keep out the rejects in the next complex. I recommend a roommate to help you fight your fights and to help with safety. If you are non-hispanic, your complaints are not heard. If you are a serious student, do not live there. There is serious problem with noise carrying below and above you.. regardless of where you are living. The only person who knows the tenets is Sheila and she is considerate and does care. I have gotten to know her. She is the only one to trust. The maintence men are respectful to you if you are to them. They can be of some help to you. I'm not sure where it is quiet to live on a student income in Tampa Bay, but it isn't near USF or at Terrace Pointe.
