It is a horrible place to begin with, the upstairs neighbors' kids were constantly throwing garbage down onto out patio, tormenting our already scared dog, and stomping around the room at 6 am or earlier. There is a car at the back by the dumpster that has been sitting in one spot since march....always supposed to be getting towed and always has a note from the car's owner saying that they are taking car of it...nothing ever happens. the tennis courts are a joke, as are the pools. And dont let me even begin to talk about the weightroom, the treadmill hasnt worked since we have been there last august, none of the machines are bolted down so they are unsafe, most of the grips are torn off or nearly destroyed because they let small children play on them. The grounds are a disgrace, the maintenance staff likes to start banging and sawing at around 6 or 7 am, without any prior warning the day before or anything. There is usually no parking upfront of the building and you have to fight for a spot or hope there is one at the back open. ABSOLUTELY NO cabinet space or counter space, the dishwasher has been rusted and breaking time after time since december of 2004, we complain but still hasnt been fixed or acknowledged, the bearings on the fridge are going out and that still waiting for that one to be fixed, bad insect problem...last year we were sharing a 2 bedroom with some friends and 2 of the people were severly allergic to bees, there was a HUGE HUGE HUGE bee problem in our bedroom, particularly because there was a hive in the wall below the sliding glass door..(which also was broken), we asked for maintenance to come have it taken care of the problem 3 or 4 times and they finally told us to fix it ourselves...and my husband is allergic to that was fun. The balcony on our room was completely termite eating and in danger of falling anytime you stepped on it, wobbled and creaked, and pieces would break off when you lean on the rail. We finallyhad to go buy our own air filters for the air conditioner because the office couldnt find any. The air broke at least once a month from sept to November. NO SECURITY at all, we had to call the police because of numerous noise complaints that went unchecked by the office. TPD finally took care of the problem and after that we had our lives threatened because we had said something. I could go on all day...LOL...but like I said, If you value your life and your property, DO NOT MOVE INTO TERRACE POINTE....ITS WASTING YOU TIME AND MONEY.

Everything stated in this review is currently correct to this day, december 9th, 2007. Every single problem stated is still a huge problem today...Times do not change here...Everything still stays and operates the same as they did, obviously, 2 and 3 years ago. My husband and my car were both broken into last week and everything stolen out of them. The apartments, now, advertise that they have "security", but they revealed to us when we told them they needed to pay for the damages to our cars that there is only ONE security officer that "patrols" 9 different apartments sites nightly...WHAT A JOKE!!! They would and will not pay for our cars or the items stollen, and we are stuck here until our lease is p in three months because there is no breaking your lease. You can move out, but you still have to give a 30 day notice, and you have to pay the rent there until your lease on your contract is up or someone moves into your apartment, which you can forget because this plave is a crap hole! Like the title of this one says, DON'T MOVE HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE AND PROPERTY!
