This was the first place my wife and I lived together after we got married. We lived there for a year and overall, it wasn't to bad. The biggest complaint that i have is about the staff. They act all nice and happy to see you until there is a problem that you need dealt with. My wifes heel got caught in a crack at the top of our stairs and she fell down 18 stairs. The office claimed that the crack was suppossed to be there for drainage purposes and there was nothing they could do about it. However, when I went to every stairwell and took pictures of every top stair and showed how some had cracks of all sizes and some didn't have any at all, they came and filled in the crack with caulk. This had no effect on the crack as it was to big to be fixed with just caulk.

When we left after our lease was up, they weren't very happy with us. We cleaned our apartment after moving everything out, as we were told to. The only thing we didn't do was shampoo the carpet, which we figured we could get away with since we had payed a pet deposit of 350 bucks. We figured that this would take care of the mess our puppy had made in the apartment. Everything else we cleaned, wiped down and vaccumed. A month after moving out we recieved a bill in the mail for $345.00 saying it was for cleaning and carpet fees. When we called to ask about this, they sayed our apartment looked as though it had not been cleaned the entire time we lived there. When we asked about the pet deposit, they told us it wasn't to cover damages, even though i had called earlier that day asking about the pet deposit and what it covered and they told me damages from the pet. We told them the charges were unfair and we would not pay them unless we say reciepts from the cleaning people and carpet shampoo guy, but they told us the reciepts were not in our file. when we told them we had cleaned before leaving they told us to call back the next day after they had a chance to inspect everything again. When we called back, they told us they had inspected the wrong apartment and said we only owed $65, which is a lot better than 345. All in all, i am glad to be out from them.


Be careful if your looking here. It's not a bad place, just make sure you document everything that happens to you or could be a problem.
