I moved in when it was still the Alexan at Highland Oaks, and I was a little worried when the new management company moved in, but I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. They have always been nice and attentive the times I have needed their assistance. I've never had bugs in my apartment which is surprising as they don't do pest control IN the apartment itself. No one is coming in the apartment under bogus pretenses (as this happens a lot with different complexes in Tampa). The grounds are always great looking, and the gates are pretty much closed all the times. The visitor gate is a pain in the --- though when I have people come to visit. Usually they will sneek in behind a resident, but I am not sure if other residents have the same problem. The neighbors are great and nice. Plus, the area is so convinient to different places without being in the middle of it all.

Having people sneak behind a resident IS a problem. It's a security gate for a reason.
