Complainers wouldn't be happy with a home in heaven - I love it here!

I have lived at Sanctuary at Highland Oaks (formerly Alexan) for over 4 years now. The location is awesome. A true diamond in the rough. All these complainers must be just problematic tennants and wouldn't be happy with a home in heaven. Office staff has always been helpful, curtious and polite. Sure there has been some minor management changes, but the core office personnel have remained the same. New property manager is also an internal hire so nothing has missed a step on property. The few times I ever had a problem, maitenance was there promptly and fixed situation in minimal time (well under the 24 hours they promise). Security is available and only a phone call away. Plus, police department is only 2 blocks away for all the fools focusing on the club in the opposite direction. They just want to be sour grapes, since the club has no effect on this property, and because, the police would get here too quickly if it did. A nice secure feeling. Amazing how the same complainers don't point out how they can head N,S,E,W on the interstate with ease of access. If all one does is search for negative in life, I hope they find it elsewhere. I have met plenty of friendly people here and have had many over to my residence with no issues from any of them. The noise level is much much quieter here than many other locations I have lived. Hey, it's still a complex, people will occasionally make some noise. They might even throw a party! But, it is not a nightly event. Security gates have been working for over a year now - no system is perfect. Parking has never been a problem. And the groundskeepers do a wonderful job maintaining the property. Sure, the landscape leaf blowers can be loud, but when is there ever a good time to run lawn equipment and make it quiet. If some gravel was placed down instead of mulch then it would have the curb appeal everyone expects since it would not wash out in our hard Florida rains. It's impossible for landscape to keep up with mulch floating away. So, for anyone honestly looking to move in here, I do suggest visiting here, look past the planters since I am sure they are going to do something about it. And, if you are the type of tennant that lives in the ghetto or normally gets thrown out of places, please do us friendly, professionally employed, timely paying tennants a favor and look elsewhere.

I have only 2 comments for you.. or you work there or you're a person without ambition in life. You've been living there for 4 years? How come you don't want to own your own place? It's a buyer's market right now, everyone can buy a house. I lived there for 1 1/2 year and that was it. I wouldn't be happier having my own house.
Good luck in "heaven".
I lived there and had several problems with people using the facilities and they didn't live there. Broken gates that took months to be fixed. People walking around the building smoking and throwing cigarette on the floor. Management is only one call away? please try and let me know. I called and they told me to get a license to arrest them because it's not their business.

Nope, I dont work there, and, I've had houses before. I choose not to have the maintenance responsibilities, which the complex handles perfectly. Ambition? I run two companies, plus starting a third. My ambition is not under question. If I wanted a house, I could easily get a house. I walk the property frequently with my dog and use the pools regularly, yet, never seem to run into these fictitious people hanging out using the facilities. If they are there, they don't make problems, which is all that really matters. Gates are working fine and have been for quite some time. I just spoke with Management face to face yesterday. It was easy, quick, and simple as always. Ceiling fan problem resolved. If you expect to have people arrested for smoking ciggarettes maybe you should have spoken with the people directly instead of being "anonymous". You might find people in general are very accomodating if you don't attack them as you did with my "ambition" earlier. So, go ahead, take all your pent up frustrations out on your spouse/sig other and put them in an early grave. They will be glad to wait for you when you arrive to your heavenly home in Utopialand. Then again, they might be happy getting away from your nagging. Stop hiding in the shadows. Brighten up. Get out. Live your life and don't sweat the small stuff as it appears you have been. Glad to hear you're so happy in your new place. Myself, my dog, and likely other residents don't miss your negativity here.

Apparently you're the only one happy in that place, but anyways.. these aren't my problems anymore, I'm very happy owning a house and don't have to deal with apartment management problems or have someone like you as my neighbor.
I need to warn other of possible problems they might have before signing the lease. This place used to be nice, clean... but now, only problems and it's not safe at all. Anyone can come in and use the facilities.. very sad. I'm not a negative person I speak the truth because I lived there too and I'm not making up stories. It's sad to see people without standards.
