We have lived at Tuscany Bay for nearly 3 years. At first, it was an awesome community, however; since changing hands six times in 3 years, enough is enough.

Other reviews mention that maintanence is good but also go on to say "my washer was fixed 3 times over 2 months but it was always fixed quickly." Wouldnt you say the problem is the shotty workmanship of repairs that leads to excessive calls to staff '

Our AC was dead nearly all summer long. After 9 attempts by maintanence, we finally called a AC Repair service and sent Tuscany Bay the bill. We saw our electric bill nearly triple due to their horrible maintanence. And after all of that, the AC guy simply cleaned both inside and outside coils. Probably could have been easily fixed but rather Tuscany Bay decided to send out their unskilled labor.

The office staff is very friendly when signing a lease but once you have an issue or problem, forget it! Phone is nearly never answered. Staff does not even return a friendly wave as you pass them.

Dog owners do not cleanup after their dog. The play equiptment for children is disgusting if not hazardous as well. We stopped taking our child to the playground after we found numerous broken bottles in the sand.

The pool, all I can say is "yuck"! The community has a serious problem with teenagers who use the pool area as their private motel room. If you go to the pool before 9am, then the area is littered with used condoms. Try explaining the strange water ballons to your child. The water is always murky and spa is dirty.

If you live to drive your trash to a dumpster, then Tuscany Bay is your home. With only one trash can, they rely on an overpriced valet service to pick up trash. But they will only take one bag regardless of the size of your unit. Not to mention, the leaky bags from other tenants can make a horrible smell and mess.

Look elsewhere!

1. Every time I've been to the pool, it has been impeccably clean, and 2. How much trash do you possibly generate? The valet service comes 6 nights a week!
