Let me start off by saying, This is a great place for students and parties. The approval process to move in here is pretty good so you wont have to worry about a felon or druggie living next door. Do not even attempt to look at the "Springwood" site they have. (about to fall down) When you first move in the place is okay, not great, but the price of the place makes up for the lack of greatness in the apartment. Most of people who live here hang out by the pool in the summer and its usually a great time, everyone just ends up drinking together at the pool alllll day. Lots of fun! The Greenery which is right in front the the place is LAME. Food is okay, but the "bar" sucks. haha. You will notice the kind of people that walk in and out of that place. haha. So.. now to the bad stuff. I know of several people who have had issues with bed bugs, and it took several times to completely get rid of them. Mold has also been a problem. Fore instance, my air handler is always leaking into the storage closet, and once i realize what is going on all of my things are soaked and there is mold everywhere in there, thats bad because thats where air is sucked into the a/c to cool my house so im currently breathing mold spores. Grrrrreat. Alls maitenence will do is maybe come out and suck up the water and put bleach down to kill the mold.. maybe. They might give you the stuff and tell you to do it your self. No really, they have told me to do so. You can tell most of the "up grades" in the townhouse are really crappy. The doors arn't even sealed properly. The 14 months iv'e lived here ive only heard of 2 break-ins. This community will promise you so many amenities to come, but they will not come, not for months and months, we were supposed to get new landscaping like 8 months ago.. still nothin. Only live here if you absolutly cannot afford anything else. There are plenty of better choices up and down 42nd st. *** Read my star ratings for more info ***
