I lived here a year and my experience was a pretty pleasant one. The complex has well kept grounds. The gates worked only half the time I lived here, but the complex is in a good area so crime wasn't a problem. Noise was almost never a problem. Although my upstairs neightbors walked abround like they had lead boots on. The staff in the office was almost always pleasant. Maintainence was prompt about fixing requests. I lived on the 1st floor, so I was constantly dealing with bugs, especially spiders. Parking usually was plentiful, unless you came home at about 2am, then you might have to park another row away from your apt. Otherwise, I always parked directly in front of my door. I would definetely renew my apt if I wasn't moving back home to be with my fiance.
My building did have a massive power surge which fried almost all of my electronics. I was not reimbursed nor was the office upfront about the problem. Also, during the hurricanes, my ceiling leaked a bit around the windows.
