My family and I have lived here for almost a year and there have been many things we liked and other things that we didn't. I can understand how some of the other posters would feel the way that they have expressed. I haven't read anything (but I haven't read all the postings) that didn't ring true to me having lived here. The office staff, depending on who you speak to, can be less than optimal. Many of them are excellent though. There is one person who stands out completely and I would recommend working with her any time. She was outstanding, always nice and professional. I would leave her name but I'm not sure I'm supposed to.

With regard to the grounds, I can agree with some of the other posters about the dog waste. We literally stepped out our door and had to avoid dog waste at times...on the sidewalk!!! I reported it to the office and a notice was sent out reminding people of the rules. Others have said that the staff doesn't do anything about the problem but I don't know exactly what they are supposed to do in this case. I suppose they could stop allowing pets but that wouldn't be fair to those pet owners who are responsible. I don't get disgusted with management about the dog waste. I do get disgusted at thoughtless dog owners. That's where the responsibility lies.

The pool area is an area that lacks maintenance in my opinion. The chairs and lounge chairs are in disrepair as are many of the tables. There is no lock on the pool gate to keep non-residents from using the pool. This shocked me. There is definitely not a family atmosphere within the apartments and townhomes themselves, especially at the pool. If you are young married couple without kids or young and single then the types of things that go on at the pool may not bother you. If, however, you have children, I would personally avoid this community. However, that being said, I'm not sure that any apartment community would be one that could be considered family friendly. Apartment communities do seem to have a younger crowd more often than not. Renting a house (if at all possible) might be a better choice for a family.

Overall, this community and the area it is in is great. We have had an overall positive experience but I wouldn't recommend living here without first cautioning those inquiring. That is why when asked if I would recommend this community I would have to say no. I would say maybe if given the option but since I'm not, I have to say no.
