Great enviornment in which to live. You can walk for coffee, bagels, to the gym and to some quality restaurants. The surrounding houses are beautiful and the area is fairly well maintained (but they didn't plan in advance for trash pick-up so it tends to pile up).
The downside is dealing with the incompetent staff at the leasing office and the poor quality of the apartments and townhomes. The staff are great to look at, but that is where it ends. They aren't much help in dealing with issues and when you can get an answer from them, their is no consistency. The quality of building materials used in putting the places together is below "builder basic". You can hear your neighbors as if they lived with you. Heaven forbid they play music. The cabinets continuously fall off (poor hinges) and the windows don't shut or open properly (nice energy bills $$$).
Oh... and watch out for the dog poop that is left by your inconsiderate neighbors. It's all over despite the bins and bags that are plentiful. Also, the dog owners have made the common greens their own private dog park, despite leash laws their dogs run amok.
As a final note, I would also mention that the level of "clientele'" has definitely depreciated over the course of the past two years, probably as vacancy rates have increased and they've lowered their standards.
