I'm so glad my lease just ended. What a long 12 months, every review that you are reading is true. The office staff is useless, they will loose your rent and then tell you to your face that you did not give it to them in there hand the day befor. They moved drug addicts in next door to me, there standards and requirements have gone down to qualify to live here ( which isn't a suprise with our economy they are just trying to fill as many apartments and townhomes as they can, why should they care who is your neighbor its not them living by them). Plan on whatever your power bill is where you are living now to double. My power bill at my house was 150 usually a month and here ranges anywhere from 290-340 a month. ( Take a look at the very small A/C units that are suppose to power a 3 story townhouse they are the same if not smaller than the regular apartments ) The apartments are cheaply made door's suck, insulation is terrible, it is true that its like you are living with your neighbors. You hear them fighting, watching american idol, having sex, and all there friends coming and going all day and night long. If you have to work a normal job 9-5 this isnt the place to be if you sleep at night. The dog poop is everywhere and i have notice alot of snakes around the pond when i go running. ( so be careful with your kids and dogs) The landscaping people do start very early mowing the grass, blowing leaves, and trimming. ( like 7 am )..... The plumbing sucks. And also you will have to share the pool with neighborhood kids and people that don't live here that just come to lay out and swim since they dont have a pool. After your lease is up even with the economy the way it is they think that the apartments and town homes are worth a rental increase with all of the problems they have. They have lost there mind. And about 4 months ago something happened to the pond and when you walked out your door you smelled an awful smell of dead fish there were thousands of dead fish in the pond and they had one guy out there with a little net trying to fish them out of the water and birds everywhere.

On a good note the italian restraunt and the entertainment there is awesome. Starbucks staff is great ( not so sure about the new manager though that just took over ) west park bagel has awesome breakfast. And its nice to have the shops to go to.

I agree with your ENTIRE e-mail, expect the office staff. They don't just suck, they super-suck. When the new management came in, out went all the quality, WEST PARK SUCKS TO LIVE.... Great for everyone else.

Actually same thing happened to me: I put my pay check on April 1-st (the day we have to pay rent) in their check box, 5 days later I felt something wrong because they didn't cash my check (usually they do that within 1-3 days). I called their office and they told us they didn't get any check in my name. I'm not blind or crazy, but the unfairest thing is that I don't have any proofs now and that really sucks, so I have to pay 100 $ more for late pay. I tried to argue with office stuff but they are enormously rude and lie to u in the face and behave like they are talking to idiots. Everybody get outta that damn place!!!!!
