I would love to speak with anyone who lives at West Park who is willing to discuss both the pros and cons of the facilities/staff/experience. My husband and I are considering the area, and from what I am reading it seems to good to be true. Please, for consideratin sake, do not respond if you are a member of the staff -- we would like a true account before making a decision.

I lived at west park village for 13 months. The westchase area is very nice and safe. However the office staff is horrible. The best advice I would give you would be to check out Lexington Park Apartments and Townhomes.

My husband and I lived there for 12 months (we moved out last summer). Honestly, it was the worst rental experience we've had. As you've read, the office staff and maintenance were awful. Truly, what people have written is true. And one more thing ... while the area does seem idyllic and like it would be a great place to live, it also comes with cons. For example, people leaving the bars at 2 AM and screaming, singing and even vomiting as they made their way home ... and you can hear all of it from your apartment. The roads are regularly blocked off for races and other events, which makes the already limited parking even more difficult. My husband and I are still in Westchase, but we rent a townhouse from a private individual. I would highly recommend taking that approach instead of West Park Village.

My fiance and I also lived in West Park village for 2 1/2 years, we were very unhappy. Although the areas is beautiful, the staff are dishonest and unprofessional. You pay huge fees to rent the townhomes which are suppose to include the gym and pool acccess. We didnt have access to some of these amenities for 2 years and when they finally gave access they decide dto charge extra. Definetly check out Lexington Park, very nice area in westchase, nic etownhome sand professional staff-also much lower rental prices with amenties hot tub, pool and gym included free of charge!

I have lived in West Park Village for three years. I am married and have two small children also. I have never had any problems with my apartment or neighbors. I have lived at other apartment communities where mold, theft, vandalism and grumpy old people make your life horrible!

I hated living in West Park. I've lived in 2 apartments since then and now realize how much I was overpaying at the time. The size of the apartments is definitely not worth the prices! The pool was always really crowded.. be sure to bring your own chairs or else you will be laying on the concrete sandwiched between splashing and screaming kids. I can't believe they don't even include a gym! I joined the YMCA, which was convenient and really great, but just another thing to pay for. My apartment's crown molding was really crappy and embarrassing for guests to see, and the place was in horrible shape when we moved in. There was dog hair all over the carpet from the previous owner, and they had just painted over a bunch of animal hair on the baseboards... totally gross. I know it's reiterated over and over in these reviews, but the staff really were horrible! The WORST to deal with, for any reason! If you have a maintenance request or question, they act like you are really wasting their time. On the upside, I did enjoy the pizzeria and shops in the front of the complex, that is really the only thing I miss about that place. If you ask me, the place really is just a facade, and I recommend you not waste your money. I wish I'd moved into Lexington Park just down the street instead. Oh well, live and learn, and share your experiences with others =)

the office staff is always trying to bump their facility...beware of anonymous postings!!!! read real named postings, and email people for real stories when you can! the office staff are paid to bump up the ratings... use your heads people, start looking for houses/townhouses for rent within westchase, for the same money you could have your own home...i now rent one for $1100 /mo and it has PARKING(OMG, i almost forgot what that was...lol) and it is actually nice to step outside and talk to real neighbors, not skateboarding kids and road warriors fighting for parking at starbucks or the martini bar!
