I've lived here for a few years. The management as far as I have been concerned is nice. I've never heard of them being racist (I'm black). They have ALWAYS been very respectful and nice to me.
Yes, my car was one of those broken into. The noises do carry. Especially late at night when people have their televisions loud. Parents don't watch their children, which is about 80% of the problem in the neighborhood. The gates are broken alot, but even when they do work they are not a great guard. They stay open if they sense a vehicle approaching, so all one has to do is follow a car or a group of cars in or just go into the outgoing gate.
Security has come out and even called back to update me the few times I have had to call on them, so I can't really complain about them.
I have seen a few bugs in my place, but I try to stay on top of that myself instead depending on the rent office. Why wait around on them and let the problem get worse' Haven't had any real issues with maintenance - they usually come out same or next day.
Floorplan is nice (3/2, third floor). Stairs are hectic at times, though. Master bathroom is a good size.
I think these apartments are based on college living, that's why they are so "efficiently" built.
Overall, I say they are alright for about a year. Then a person may just be ready to move.

That sound like straight lies lets be honest how many times have the cops been called out to wexford? How many times have cars been broken into? I stayed there for two years and my mom out right(meaning she paid straight cash) bout me a 2006 lexus for my high school graduation which was broken into twice. It had gotten soo bad to the point where hillsborough county sheriff office setup sting operations in the apartments to decrease the number of stolen cars. So ms. anonymous b4 you decide to make up lies about wexford you need to do your research.Also about the bugs it is a terrible problem and i repeat terrible problem that wexford failed to handle responsibly. And if I may refer you back to your research those particular apartments was built on nothing but wooded area. So therefore they strugle to control the entry of bugs into the apartments.Also ms anonymous I feel your post is from someone in the office i don't think you are a real resident because for one if you were why do you feel the need to hide your name if you are recommending this apartment and recommend the apartment for someone to stay there for a year if it is a great apartment. And rather you are black or not look at the number of complaints wexford have against them for racial profiling along with the move out rates.That will explain it all!! Don't get me wrong they are nice apartments but the facts are facts they are low income and built very cheaply y the government.
